GROWN LOCAL, LOVED LOCAL

The Best Produce

We’ve been growing our relationships with local farmers for years.

Today we work with 13 growers right here in New Zealand, and we’re committed to providing the ideal conditions for all our farmers to grow and flourish.

Our community of growers in the Mid and South Canterbury areas provide McCain with fresh, high-quality potatoes from January through to June every year, all from 100% irrigated paddocks. Together, we produce the fries that New Zealanders love.

COMMUNITIES

Communities are a key part of our ecosystem, and we can’t succeed without them. That’s why we give as much back as we can, and will continue to do our part in the future.

Businesses and People

Over 40 years of natural growth.

We’ve come a long way since purchasing our first factory in 1984. Today we have factories in Hastings and Timaru, with a dedicated central office across the pond in Melbourne.

We have a thriving workforce of over 250 people. By focusing on local produce, we’ve grown to employ over 210 locals in our plants and over 50 in our office across New Zealand. This adds up to making us a big contributor to healthy and thriving local economies.

GROWN LOCAL, LOVED LOCAL

Sustainably

We are committed to our four-part Sustainability Strategy.

1. SMARTER, MORE SUSTAINABLE FARMING
2. MORE RESOURCE-EFFICIENT OPERATIONS
3. FOOD THAT’S AS GOOD AS IT LOOKS
4. COMMUNITIES THAT THRIVE
